Happy Monday!

Good afternoon! We have another amazing vendor from our wedding up today! I am super-de-duper picky about style and jewelry on my wedding day was no different. Erin McDermott to the rescue! Erin and I worked together at a private school in Charlottesville when we both realized that we wanted to pursue our art as our career. She has since launched a successful jewelry business! Not only did Erin make my beautiful earrings, she also handcrafted Keith’s white gold wedding band.

Today, Erin so graciously is giving away the Jane-Garnet earrings that I wore. Post a comment and we will pick a winner by 5 pm tomorrow! :)

Not only are they beautiful for a wedding, I like to use them to dress up my jeans :)

Erin McDermott and you certainly have made amazing businesses out of your art! Go you! Lucy, you know that I normally go for the simple and have trouble breaking away from it, but these earrings are just so classy and elegant, while also simply beautiful. Oooo oooo oooo! I have worn and loved Erin’s jewelry for years, but don’t have anything like these beautiful earrings. They would be the perfect spring accessory! I could even wear them for the extra special Whole School Circle that will feature Dominick’s breakdance…

Lucy O, The earrings that you wore on your wedding day were elegant, unique, and beautiful (much like you!). What a great giveaway. As much as I would love a pair for myself, my vote is that you pick CLARE to get them, since she is getting married very soon. After all, she must be one of your sweetest clients. AND she’s very Irish… a little St. Paddy’s day charm would certainly bring the luck o’ the Irish!

    Love,
    Janelle

P.S. Thanks for the link to Erin’s website. Very beautiful stuff!

These earrings are gorgeous and I love that you are from Charottesville! One of my bridesmaids just finished her Master’s at UVA and it one of my favorite towns! I loved visiting her there. I would love to be the one that you pick to win these earrings. My dress is lace with pearls sewn throughout, and my veil is long with lace around the edges. I think the earrings would look fantastic since my veil is rather long. I had stud type pearl earrings in mind and these would be perfect. I am planning on wearing my hair up and loose since it is an outdoor wedding, and the earrings would really be show-cased! I love that they are handmade and not from a factory. My wedding will be filled with hand made touches, locally grown flowers for center pieces, and local honey as favors. These would be the cherry on top :)
