We had the pleasure of meeting Jay and Katherine in our birthing class… and now sweet Caroline is here! Enjoy this one month old.
It is always an honor to have our images in a feature. Especially two local blogs that I adore for tips on wedding planning and beautiful events! Thank you Easton Events and Fete blog! Go give them some love!
Happy Monday!

We have this silly little tradition in the Taylor Family. We like to name things…cameras, computers, cars, and now toys for our daughter. I found this gem at a yard sale a couple weeks ago and Keith has affectionately named him “Monsieur Moose” (said in a french accent of course). Since he is from Ikea, Keith decided he must be European. I think he is the perfect addition to our modern nursery! What do you think?
Can’t wait for our baby girl to be big enough to play with him!
Keith and I had a lovely trip to NYC to photography Patrick and Marie (Part I and Part II) and Kate and Jon! We also ate a lot of delicious food and walked a ton. Here is a snippet of the personal side of our trip on film!
More from our visit to Ellis Island coming later!
First up, amazing con panna (go look it up!) at Stumptown at the Ace Hotel. YUM!
Then lunch near China town at Barrio Chino! Both Keith and baby girl’s first time to NYC!
Then the most delicious gluten free cupcake EVER at Babycakes across the street.
What would a trip be without a visit to a local beer store, Top Hops. Keith was in heaven. I’m going back when I’m not pregnant!
And finally a visit to the Impossible Project. Hard to find but so worth it!
Can’t wait to go back! Thanks to Patrick and Marie for having us!
Borrowed & Blue is an amazing new resource in Charlottesville to help couples plan their perfect wedding! I am so excited to be a part of this super helpful resource and to be featured today! Go check out Jodi & Michael’s wedding! Thank you Borrowed & Blue!
Here is Part II of our time with Patrick and Marie in NYC! Thanks to Warby Parker for letting us invade your unique space for the afternoon!
I am SO excited to share this session with you all! Keith and I travelled up to NYC a couple weeks ago to spend a couple days exploring the city and capturing Patrick and Marie! We cannot wait for their wedding in Charlottesville in December. Thanks to Magnolia Bakery for having us!
Stay tuned for Part II coming to the blog on Wednesday!
We had so much fun with Laura Grace and Michael out at Panorama Farms! Can’t wait for your wedding in August!
What a gorgeous issue! My dear friend, Meredith Montague, shot the cover and it is just gorgeous! We are so thrilled to have Sam & John’s engagement session featured! You can view the issue online here.
I also love what Sam had to say to future couples, “Some of the stress that comes with planning the wedding day can actually be a great opportunity for conversations that will set you up for a stronger marriage! Let the planning process be part of ‘marriage prep’ not just ‘wedding planning’.”
My sweet husband won me these AMAZING chocolates off the radio. Isn’t he thoughtful?
What did you get for Valentine’s Day?
Hope your day is filled with love!
